Description
Hotel Brufa is set in Monteleone di Spoleto, 1000 metres above sea-level, in the heart of the green Valnerina (Umbria), not very far from Cascia, “the city of Santa Rita” and Norcia, “the city of San Benedetto”.
The hotel is a new building, furnished by a typical architectonical style, respecting the landscape, at the beginning of the ancient and suggestive village of Monteleone di Spoleto, in the past known by the name of “Brufa Castle” (800 a.D): the hotel has 20 rooms with private services and telephone, some with open terrace, in front of Terminillo mountain and Corno river.
The big and pleasant hall, equipped with service bar can be used for meeting breakfast. Our hotel has got a sitting room, with TV, a living room, a lift, solarium, garden and parking. The quiet of the place, the surrounding panorama, the pure air make your stay relaxing and unforgettable; this is an ideal place to spend your holiday and to practise many sport: trekking, rafting, horse riding, fishing, cycling, skating, playing bowls, soccer, tennis, volleyball and basketball; you can also practise ski in Leonessa (ski lifts 10 km far). The resort is famous for its splendid landscapes, for its water, that gushes pure from the sources and for the wide pine-wood, with its beautiful walk and playground, incomparable in Valnerina: all around there are many CAI paths.
