Description
Colmotino is a contraction of Collis Montini, mentioned in the records for a relay village through which an ancient road to Civita passed.
The modern road, which stops further up at Manigi, passes the village on the right. With the exception of the church which lies before the village, the settlement is rather compact and stands around a lordly, 16th century palace with a stone cornice to mark the floors on which the smooth cornice, stone windows rest.
