Description
The worship of St. Sabino (or Savino), Bishop and Martyr of Umbria, is one of the most popular in central Italy.
The church of San Sabino is a Romanesque building, near the cemetery of Ceselli, with a simple gabled facade and traces of a forepart.
The single nave is divided into two spans covered by cross vaults and and it is enlightened by three embrasure windows. On the walls are still traces of frescoes, which once covered perhaps their whole surface. On the right side, near the apse, a well made fragment of a Saint Bishop from the second half of the fifteenth century.
