Description
This area, known as Preci Mountains, is bound by Campiano Valley at north and east, by Valnerina at west and by the peaks of the Corno river Valley at south. Its name probably derives from the difficulty of the path or from the altitudes of the villages lying here between 800 and 900 meters a.s.l..
Through Oblita Valley one access a vast mountain system, where the surrounding mountains have been smoothed and softened by the progressive flowing of the water.
Aspro and Cavogna Mountains, both impending over Cortigno Valley, are the only reliefs keeping very sharp peaks. The present vegetation consists mainly of oak and large areas of meadows and pastures.
