Description
Acquaro is the closest village and the most visible from the Abbey of Saint Eutizio, as well as once the most suitable in structure and position, to be fortified. Today is almost completely restored, even though it hosts only five people during winter seasons.
From Acquaro, along a nice and comfortable path, you can arrive until Norcia after about 13 kilometers, passing longitudinally through the hillside of the extraordinary valley of Campiano and lapping some of the most important architectural monuments of Campi and Ancarano, including the Hermitage of Our Lady of the Cross, the Church of Saint Saviour, the Church of the White Lady.
