Description
The village of Villa San Silvestro lies at the point where the mountain path coming from the Corno river valley reaches the plateau of Chiavano.
It rises on the southern slope of the Rotonda Mont, where is a fortified enclosure similar to that found at an altitude of 1076 meters south of Chiavano, both of them were maybe set to check the pass. The village, of modest size and simple architecture, developed behind an imposing Roman temple, where the church of San Silvestro was built.
