Description
Ruscio was once linked with the agricultural activities that developed on the plain with the same name and with the exploitation of a mine of lignite which has since been abandoned.
It consists of two parts divided by a stream. New buildings have appeared between the two parts to give the impression of a single settlement that stretches along the old road that linked Monteleone and Leonessa. The present day road avoids passing through it so that the town has lost its original characteristic as a relay village.
