Description
Colle di Avendita is a very tiny relay village on the border of the municipality of Norcia is in a perfect line between the towns of Aliena and Agriano which complete the system of villages to the northeast of the high ground.
A funeral stone in the wall of the house belonging to the Nardi family not only recalls the Roman presence in these places, but also mentions the Quirina tribe who were in charge of the population in this area. The same tribe is mentioned on a funeral stone from Avendita and now kept in the Town Hall in Cascia.
